What is Limited Atonement?

Watch the video version on YouTube.

In this episode, Brian and Pastor Jay unpack the doctrine of limited atonement: what it means, common objections, and why it shows the effectiveness and love of Christ’s death for his people.

Scripture mentioned:

John 10:15 - Just as the Father knows me and I know the Father; and I lay down my life for the sheep.
2 Corinthians 5:14-15 - For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised.
2 Corinthians 5:10 - For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, so that each one may receive what is due for what he has done in the body, whether good or evil.
Hebrews 10:14 - For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified.
Isaiah 53:11 - Out of the anguish of his soul he shall see and be satisfied; by his knowledge shall the righteous one, my servant, make many to be accounted righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities.
