What is Perseverance of the Saints?

Watch the video version on YouTube.

In this episode, Brian and Pastor Jay wrap up the TULIP series by discussing the perseverance of the saints. They explore what it means for true believers to endure in faith, how this doctrine can be misunderstood, and how it offers hope for struggling Christians.

Scripture mentioned:

1 John 2:19 - They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us. But they went out, that it might become plain that they all are not of us.
Philippians 1:6 - And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.
Psalm 51:1 - Have mercy on me, O God, according to your steadfast love...
Psalm 51:12 - Restore to me the joy of your salvation, and uphold me with a willing spirit.
Philippians 2:12 - Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
2 Timothy 2:15 - Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.
Isaiah 42:3 - A bruised reed he will not break, and a faintly burning wick he will not quench; he will faithfully bring forth justice.
1 Peter 1:5 - Who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
